Can we buy works of art, frame it, and then sell framed art to benefit?
If I buy works of art prints of famous artists living and frame prints, can I sell framed prints for profit or is it infringe a copyright?
Assuming that the print was copied legally (ie, the art is in the field public or the artist obtains a license for the printer to print (print to say that three times fast)) and assuming that you have legally acquired the impression (Ie you do not copy without a license), what is called the first "sale" doctrine protects your resale within a frame.
